Mission

The mission of Roselawn Mosque is to serve Allah (SWT) by fostering a vibrant, knowledgeable, and united Muslim community grounded in the teachings of the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. We are committed to helping Muslims fulfill their religious obligations, strengthen their faith, and deepen their understanding of Islam through worship, education, spiritual development, and community engagement.

We strive to promote authentic Islamic knowledge among both Muslims and non-Muslims, encourage mutual respect and understanding, and nurture a spirit of compassion, service, and excellence. Roselawn Mosque seeks to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood within the Muslim community, preserve and promote Islamic values, and cultivate a sense of shared responsibility toward the well-being of society.

In addition, we are dedicated to building meaningful relationships with our neighbors and community partners, fostering dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding for the advancement of peace, justice, and harmonious coexistence. Through outreach, service initiatives, and civic engagement, we seek to contribute positively to local and national affairs while representing the highest ethical and moral principles of Islam.

Purpose

Roselawn Mosque exists to serve as a comprehensive Islamic center that addresses the spiritual, educational, social, and communal needs of Muslims while extending a welcoming hand to the broader community.

As a house of worship, the mosque provides a sacred space for daily prayers, Jumu‘ah services, Ramadan activities, Eid celebrations, and other acts of devotion that strengthen the relationship between believers and their Creator.

As an educational institution, Roselawn Mosque offers programs that promote the study of the Qur’an, Islamic sciences, Arabic language, and character development for children, youth, and adults, helping individuals grow in faith, knowledge, and practice.

As a center for social services and community support, the mosque seeks to assist individuals and families through counseling, charitable initiatives, youth development programs, family support services, and community outreach efforts. It serves as a gathering place where people can connect, support one another, and build lasting relationships rooted in faith and mutual respect.

Roselawn Mosque also serves as a place of solace, refuge, and guidance for those facing personal, spiritual, or social challenges. Through its programs and services, the mosque strives to inspire hope, strengthen families, empower future generations, and contribute to the betterment of society as a whole.
